from Rebecca Berlind ’21:
Are you looking for a fun way to spend parents weekend that involves theatre and potentially(?) snacks?
IF SO, come check out “Loners Lovers Freaks” this weekend at the Hepburn Zoo. Directed by Michole Biancosino, this year’s 22nd Annual First Year Show features several short scenes, followed by 10 one minute plays, all of which were written by playwrights currently living inNew York City. Though each scene tells a unique story, they share a common theme centering on the desire to belong. These scenes teach compelling lessons on friendship, love, and human nature, expressed through witty rhetoric and clever dialogue. Guaranteed to make you laugh but also maybe frown (we wouldn’t go as far as to say cry), “Loners Lovers Freaks” is not to be missed!
Performances will be this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (October 12, 13, 14) at 8:00pm (with an extra exciting performance at 10:00pm on friday for the ~night owls~)
