Pep Band Love

The Middlebury Pep Band is one of the most organic and beautiful creations here at middlebury. Last week they hiked up the snowbowl with all their gear including a drumset for our smiles. Flying Words Project TONIGHT

So last night’s Buddy Meets the Strivers performance was unreal, but who says poetry requires speech? Certainly not deaf poet Peter Cook and his hearing co-author Kenny Lerner who comprise the Flying Words Project poetry troupe. The Flying Words Project is an American Sign Language (ASL) poetry troupe tryna do the same thing Verbal Onslaught host Barbara Ofosu- Somuah ’13 or Buddy’s poets do: make images come alive to an audience.
